Default Torque convertor lock up?

Well.... As I have noticed in my car...

When taking off from a stoplight the car shifts through 1st to 2nd nice and smooth, around 30-35 mph you feel the car get some more power and the engine kind roars a little louder.

Is this from the torque convertor locking up???

I believe the transmission is slipping for smoother shifts and acceleration.

Or is there something wrong? BTW this goes about very smoothly. Nothing really I would be concerned with.

A340's do have electronically actuated Converter lockup.

There are many threads on how to improve the auto with simple mods, on Toymods in Australia.

One for line pressure cable, one to manually operate the A340, and another one to get lockup in any gear.

Search em up!

Yea I read one about snipping a wire from the ECU, but then I would lose overdrive gear or something. Plus I also read it would give harsher downshifting.
