Hi there guys, I see tons of write ups for the automatic trans fluid change, which I will be doing either today or tomorrow.
But nothing for the differential. I would like to change that to. The fluid that is.
Does it just take regular gear oil? or do I need some special toyota only stuff?
Anyone got a write up. Should be a drain fill procedure though...
How many quarts etc, and type. Thank you. Just want someone who has done it before to chime in,
UPDATE. I FOUND IT. 80-90 weight gear oil and seems simple to do. Thanks anyways,

Man lol, I am about to go purchase a gun and kill myself. The transmisison filter came with a rubber gasket, and its like all gumby style, and it is just the biggest pain in the boo boo ever. Sent my gf off to get me some HI tack gasket sealent. There is no other way.I would also like to add, that doing this on a gravel driveway sucks, with jack stands. There was no way I could torque these to 5 lbs. They were hard to go in, thanks to the crappy gasket and hi tack. I will have to loosen and retighten tommorw in the day. Hopefully it dont leak...
