Default Boost gauge fluctuating on vacuum side

On the vacuum side of my boost gauge the gauge is indicating less vacuum at idle, and it fluctuates when I drive.. Also when I accelerate and then let off, the car will go to 1100 rpm and stay there for like 8 seconds before coming back down to 900 rpm (standard idle).. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be wrong?

You've got a gasket that's not sealing (vacuum leak), EGR Issues, OR else you've got internal issues that could be showing their head.

Holy ****.. Hopefully it isn't internal. The only thing I can think of is the bov the gasket was coming off so I took it off conpletely and snugged it tight on

It probably isn't due to the fact you're getting RPM fluctuations. Make a leak detection end cap and find your leak.

I fixed the fluctuations but now it's indicating more vacuum on the boost gauge
