M10 and M12.
also all the bolts bought so far have been 10.9's that should be strong enough right? for the crankshaft bolts that hold the flywheel clutch and pressure plate in I am thinking of ordering ARP online. smart idea?

from what I read 10.9 should have a tensile strength of 150,00PSi? the ARP bolts are 170,000PSI
I have these bolts on the pressure plate and the bellhousing bolts, the rest is Collins supplied, which looks like its pretty much the same stuff?
its just the flywheel bolts that I am wanting to use on it since they go under a lot or strain. if I use ARP everything this will get much more expensive FAST

I picked up the bellhousing and pressure plate bolts from a local fastener shop. They are all grade 10.9, the guy working there said that the metric grade 10.9 is equivilant to the grade 8 of sae bolts.
This is the size bolts collins said to get for the bellhousing. He also said to get some washers to
Use with them because some of the bolts bottom out in the adapter against the block.
M12x1.75 x 55 mm Grade 10.9
M10x1.5 x 30 mm grade 10.9
I bought 4 of each because that's what I had line up with my adapter.

W58 in 4th, and shifter boot sitting loosely under the trim just for a rough idea of what it might look like around 32" with the gated trim.
Suprisingly I can still shift through all the gears although 1, 3 and 5 do touch the trim if you do it fast.
Don't knock my shifter boot I like red stitching =)

as far as welding the auto bellhousing i saw a thread on some australian forum about an auto bellhousing + T56 transmission, someone selling their swap, so there is some validity to that approach but i've never seen it talked about stateside.

From what I have learned, there are guys in AUS/NZ that are doing this on the CD009, but information seems hard to come by. One company is actually casting bellhousings that are automatic bellhousings with a back end that bolts onto a CD009 once the front of the bellhousing is cut off..

I am working on getting more information on this from them..

man I would really like to see a better bell housing adapter option on the market. maybe one that would be short enough to allow the input shaft/clutch splines to go further in so we can use a 2jz flywheel and clutch.
I messages Collins adapters last week asking if the new no milling kit they have will work if I still want to mill the bellhousing, and received no response whatsoever, little disappointing in the communication there.
another view of the shifter, still haven't changed the bottom part for the proper seat that holds the shifter bushing, but as you can see the one I drilled out is actually working.
Moved it 1-6 and reverse.
