sounds like it was all just BS, why wouldn't they tell you how it went unless it went bad. then i could be wrong, maybe the alien test driver took off with the car.and hasn't been seen since.

Hopefully, guess we'll see. Strange though, it's as if no one's following this thread....

If something like this would work out - I would pick up a 400. Until then - I'm waiting for that SC3 5spd to replace my lost love.

How about the 4.7 stroker with the tundra crank? What are the logistics with going grass roots on that set-up?

On a side note; got a Monte SS coming soon to my garage. (I been workin on a couple things in the down time

I'm watching and waiting.

The stroker job cost around $12k to do.

still watching

I've been contacted by them before with a bit of info and an 'end of Dec - January' release date. So they're still on track as far as the projected ETA.

Not sure whats going on with their facility tho

Jon - Urathane or Carbon Fiber? PLEASE! You should have KNOWN that PLYWOOD is the ONLY WAY to go. Plus I'm into the whole "unpainted" look...you know, the more "natural" look. Yeah, I'm diggin' it...it think I'm going to dump my Classy kit on my GS for one of these wood jobs...but I'm going to go hardcore...I'm using 2x4's...

Hopefully, my 1UZ-FE is in good enough condition to handle the boost. I will probably change out the head gasket JUST in case...maybe I'll change some other things...dunno...the cost is getting close to doing a full 2JZ-GTE RHD Soarer conversion...hell, even a 1JZ-GTE RHD would be cool...the only thing that concerns me is the JDM digital gauges...they are rather problematic...and getting a fix isn't that easy...I'll have to import a a new one or two...

Nah - only costs $2.50 to make a JDM digital dash like new!
Here's how:
