Default How does my timing belt look?

I see a small crack forming above the teeth. I believe the belt has never been changed before I bought the car. The car has 141k miles on it. Does it look like it's about to snap any minute?

This is probably the best deal for OEM quality stuff

You should also do crank seal, cam seals, and thermostat

My main concern is the cracks on the side of the belt. According to this thread http://my.is/forums/f87/strange-norm...k-side-351640/ people are saying it's normal for the cracks on the side. There are no cracks on top of the belt.

141k miles and the timing belt has never been changed? Now is a good time along with the several items already mentioned above.

Broken timing belt = catastrophic engine failure

It is always cheaper to perform to do preventive maintenance rather than waiting until something breaks. The fact that you have questioned the condition of the belt yourself tells me that you have your own private concerns. Replace it and have the piece of mind that it is new.
