i have a 92 sc400. i bought it in running condition but it had a check engine light. it had codes 23 and 29. there was an aftermarket alarm system and keyless entry system in it. i hate that aftermarket stuff so i pulled it all out. i also pulled out the aftermarket stereo and all wiring for an amp and speakers that was not stock. i went to start it but now it wont start. it cranks over just fine but wont start. im not sure if the fuel pump is supposed to kick on when the key is turned on or when the car is trying to start but i dont hear the fuel pump kick on a all during either. the alarm system was tapped into the fuel pump wiring harness i assume to cut fuel if it thought it was being stolen. everything on the car is back to stock.

im thinking somehow i activated the stock alarm system but i have no idea how to disable it. how can i do that? the key i have is just a plain lexus key, no buttons on the key. it unlocks the truck but not either of the door locks or the glove box. is there a way to tell if i got the valet key or the master?

i jumped those pins and now it will start and run but it still wont run correctly. it still throws codes 13 and 29. what can i do to stop getting this code 13? the car wont drive well b/c it wont rev over 1000 rpms and then it starts missing.

to herlp you with the diagnostic codes back there, ecm:
13 is rpm signal - engine speed sensor, wiring to same, ecm, timing belt jumped
24 is intake air temp sensor or circuit, ecm
29 is right sub oxy sensor o2 sensor
buy a lexus shop manual bullsj- it will pay you back 10x if you do your own work
dealer can order your door keys via the vin. ---if they haven't been changed

jump the pump and it worked but i still have a code 13 and 29 and the car still wont really drive at all b/c it missed under much of any kind of throttle. after i tried to drive it the check engine light was flashing at me and the o/d off light came on. lights were dong this for about 30 seconds and then the check enginge went solid and the o/d off went off. still ran like crap.
