Default R154 front drive shaft

I'm about to swap my soarerr154 into my sc300. How do I take off the carrier bearing on my mkiii front driveshaft?

I think there are 2 or 4 bolts on the bottom of the carrier bearing holding it against the trany tunnel

Some say the muffler/driveshaft shops do it for free or around 10 bucks. I dont know with basic tools, even tho I have never tried to take one off.

split the shaft front and back half.. if its already just the front half look on it it has a big nut on the end.. hit that with an impact then pull off the end. then take the drive-shaft and turn it upside down and tap it on the ground it will just fall off. then put on the sc carrier and reassemble. its straight forward and enjoy the r154, i know i do!

Just as an alternate idea, you can actually use the supra R154 carrier if your SC one looks miserable. I took a grinder to the R154 carrier tab that sticks out too high and dremeled the mounting holes a bit (ALOT!) and managed to massage the supra carrier inside our tunnel.

Visually it looks beefier than the SC one so I figured it must be stronger.
