Default O/D light flashing...code 61

Hey guys, my o/d light is flashing meaning something is going on with the tranny. Its code 61 which means number 2 speed sensor malfunction.
My speedometer is working and is accurate.
My tranny is a bit rough and wonky so would a bad #2 speed sensor cause any thing to be rough?
Mainly happens when I rip it a bit, but does come on from time to time when casually driving.

Thanks in advance!

hey bud, ok well the o/d will def flash, but this can be to various problems (bad tranny, sticky throttle cable, and yes your right speedsensor) i assume you scanned this car correct? well if you know the code, and it reads speed sensor then thats the problem, you could also have bad shift solenoids but i don't think you need to think about that as it would affect the shifting. If you need anymore help pm me, my friend had a similar problem and it was a stick tb (throttle body cable)
