SC300 Will crank fine, but won't start
#46
It turned out to be the connector for the crank sensor. The engine heat made the plastic dry and brittle so the tab that locks it in place failed allowing the plug to lose contact. I zip tied it for now so it is starting without trouble. I ordered part 90980-10947 to fix this. My next project is to just hunt down as many connectors under the hood and replace them with OEM where you can de-pin the existing wires then reuse them in fresh plastic connectors.
