Diff Swap
Does anyone know that if I pulled the complete rear subframe off of 95 Sc400 and replace it with the 97 supra TT 6 spd rear subframe complete with 6 spd LSD diff and axle already on it. and bolt the whole thing back on the sc400. question is WILL the stock sc400 auto drive shaft that's already on the car bolt straight onto the the 6 spd lsd without having problem with length or flange issue. I know the gearing is going way high but it's a temp thing just to get the subframe back home.

I just went thru the whole swap thread from gerrb, according to the information I gathered from his thread, companion flange swap might be needed, might not ? but one thing I'm pretty sure seems like the the sc400 drive shaft will be a inch too long to make it work with the TT 6 spd rear end, now if it was a TT auto rear end it would bolt right up with just a flange change if needed. As TT 6 spd rear end is about an inch longer then your TT auto/ SC/GS rear end.
