Default HELP! Problem with Car..

So i drive an SC400 and lately its been acting up....

Sometimes when i drive, it starts to become hard to accelerate (i literally have to floor it just to make it out of 40 mph) and when i release the gas pedal, it slows down dramatically instead of cruising on..also the brakes get stiff when i brake..theres no check engine light or weird smoke coming out of anywhere...it happens at least once every time i drive it and lasts for about 5 minutes, then goes away...

Any Ideas would help and thx for reading...

My brothers Lexus GS300 had that problem......turns out it was the bank 1 o2 sensor, and the MAF.
Check those things out. Could also be bad TPS, or dirty IACV.

Sounds like a brake caliper could be hanging up.

I would listen to the other members about it, since im new to Sc's but like V8drummer said it could be your brakes catching. I had this problem on my mkiii supra. It turns out my brake booster was going out. So if the problem happens pull over and check your brakes.

Also could be dirty throttle body. Rule out the TPS as well, sounds like that could be the culprit, as well as the throttle linkage bolt.
