Ok I took the risk and got the motor ... I show up to see and the motor looked super clean new head gasket ...match ported.. new valve stem seals.....new timing belt....did not show any signs of leaks... front sump... Chrome valve cover... Chrome intake manifold...brand new Alternator in the box..... also gave me motor mounts .. full harness..... extra block with spun bearing....with oil pump on it ... extra knock sensors.......the motor does need injectors ...tps sensor... turbos....starter....a.c compressor....crank fully..... I got all this for $300... I figured on parts alone I can always get my money back incase block is bad.... but the guy knew his **** and took me to his home so I don't know... I doubt he would sell me a bad motor when I know where he lives...... I will now check compression and do full tune up... what you guys think?

the blocks are pretty stout, assuming a rod didnt exit, it can probably be machined and salvaged

The guy I got it from was very confident about this motor... he said it was running amazing when he pulled it out... he said he had just finish changing all the seals and belts before he crashed his car so I'm hoping everything good... I can always start a 1.5jz if rods are bad...
