Default Powder coated the rear diff today!

So I have my diff out and apart (spare) and am rebuilding it with new seals and lsd so I figured why not have everything powder coated?

I am going to powder coat the rear sub frame as well as make some poly bushings for it so the plan is to powder coat everything under the car as well as everything up top in the engine bay as I just dropped off my transmission case today so I can then take it to ATF to have them fully build it to take some abuse!

This is the only pic I have atm but I will update as I get more together pics...

Nice!!!

You could of just left that cover bare metal just had it media blasted and then coat the diff. Nice attention to detail though I need to have my TRD LSD installed myself but I fear whomever I take it too might not install it correctly

Looks pretty good, the good thing is now you'll be able to easily identify and leaks? Hopefully you won't have any considering those new seals! Smart move!

Looks great! I do the same with parts as well. I'm looking for a rear subframe right now. I'm even going to the stitch weld the rear subframe around the mounting areas, And powder coat it so it doesn't rust out again. However didn't think to do my tranny parts! * snap* now I have to do it! Dang

Wow!! I am now doing the exact same thing with the rear subframe! Stitch welding is a good idea as well, If you were closer I would just say I could grab a rust free rear subframe from the yard as they sell for 250 which is about what I paid for mine.

What color is that? It looks a little pinkish. I brought my LS brakes to the polishing shop today... I hope it comes back really good.
