Default Another cleaning maf thread

I wanna clean mine since a week ago I got a cel code 31 which is bad maf so I reset the ecu and its been running fine since. So I have a 94 sc4 so I cant use the electrical cleaner and read ppl recommend cleaning with qtips or compressed air, I have both but how do I go about it? Do it on a cold start right? Dont get too close with the can of compressed air?
Please help me out guys, thanks.

I would buy the can of cleaner that is for Toyota/Lexus safe. I have read two cans before in Oreilys that said NOT to use on Lexus/Toyota MAF's. I really don't know why ours are different than the other, but something tells me they are. Any way, using compressed air is fine, keep it maybe 4-6 inches away and not to strong. The cleaner will work just fine when used properly. I have also read where people use all kinds of cleaner on theirs and they have had great results. I would just makes sure its MAF cleaner specified and not brake or carb cleaner. GL .
