Sc300 with 3.76 gearing possible?
Could I put the auto tt gearing rings into a sc300 diff? It's kind of hard to find a auto tt and was wondering if I could go buy the gearing from Toyota and just installed it. I just installed a r154 into my 97 sc300 and I want to daily the car. I work 80 miles both ways. Beside buying the auto tt diff. What other options do I have?

if you want a really long rear ratio pick up a diff from a 97+ sc400. this should give you a really good cruising rpm of around 1900 @ 60 and 2300 @ 70. hope this helps. also here's a link with gear reatios for different models and years... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...io-thread.html

Great info guys. I want it to be longer gears than what it will be. It just so hard to find a auto tt diff so I just want to have other options. I'm not really worried about LSD right now since my car is stock but if its there it would be nice to have. Keep the input coming thanks.

Yes the SC430 will fit, but you will have to switch the companion flange from your old diff.
FYI.. the SC430 is a 3.26 gear.. super long gearing. If your not boosted i wouldnt suggest this gear. I just installed the 3.26 out of a SC430 couple weeks ago and its great at crusing speeds but is super lag...
I will happily sell you my diff so I can buy a different gear.. Diff only has 54K on it and its out of a 2005 SC430

^^^ I guess our setups are different , i run a 66 and before 4k rpm i see 24psi with mk3 r154 and GS430/SC430 diff.
If you gonna daily your car short gears ratio will put alot of wear and tear on you setup..but your call!
