Which mkiv supra fan and shroud do I need for swap?
There is apparently 2 different fans and shrouds for the mkiv as there is 2 part #'s for both the fan and shroud so I am wondering what the difference is?
I would guess auto and 6 speed ?
We are talking tt here as well so if anybody knows please let me know.
Thanks

Yeah the difference is the auto and the 6speed. The 6 spd has an extra fan for ac i believe. Im using a stock sc3 shroud with a mishimoto mkiv rad. I had to trim a few things but if youre using the sc radiator the stock sc3 would be perfectly fine.

the TT shrouds had an extra hole for an electric fan, if your going to wire one of those fans in then get the tt shroud with the extra hole.
if your not going to wire one in and your using the stock sc300/400 radiator get the factory sc300/400 shroud. If you have a koyo, mishimoto, etc supra radiator get the supra NA shroud

I'm having the same issues. 1jz sc300 with a MKiV Mishimoto radiator. I am currently running electric fans and one just failed. What clutchfan/shroud combo do I need to use? I was thinking about buying the Mishimoto Dual electric fan with shroud setup. Anyone use it?

Anyone know how bad the clearance would be with GS300 fans? You can get them for quite cheap...

I wouldn't touch any electric fans except for the oem is300 fans. I'm not sure if those GS fans would fit, but if they are oem they should be reliable and heavy duty enough for the job. The oem shrouds will have to be modified to fit correctly. powerhouse racing makes a shroud that the oem fans fit into. It is very important that the shroud creates a seal around the perimeter of the radiator, you want the air to be pulled through the radiator, not from aroun the shroud
any fan clutch from a 2jz car should work
for the shroud with oem fan clutch use the NA MKIV shroud

I just installed a Koyo alumiunum radiator for an MKIV TT 6-speed into my manual SC300. You'll want the TT shroud, plus a small upper bracket that goes with it. Takes five of the factory bolts because of that bracket, which you may need to bend slightly to make it clear your aftermarket radiator. Nearly all MKIV aftermarket radiators are manual-only anyway.
You'll also need either the $85+ electric fan temp sensor for the bottom of the radiator or a $6 16mm-1.5 drain plug to fill that area.
IS300 electric fans are your only other alternative but I don't believe they are better than the mechanical fan setup with a turbo.
