Default check engine light issues

I am completely new to this site but heard great things abput it.. my issue is i have a 95 lexus sc300.. i can reset the engine light.. i jumped terminals on the dianostic port under the hood and it makes the airbag and cruise lights blink..is there another diagnostic port somwere on the car.. just bought my lexus so its all new to me.. any help will be greatly apreciated

There is an OBD-I in the kick panel as well but it does the same thing as the one under the hood.

Do you get any CEL? What codes?

I cant get the light to flash. I jumped the correct terminals but it wont flash a code or reset..it say sround for a yr and i want to reset the light to see if it stays off or if i have a problem. The car runs flawless

Also i checked the link u posted it says 90 to. 94 has obd1..mine is a 95 with obd1

Same thing. I believe LS switched to obd2 in 95 while the SC did in 96. If there is no CEL, why are you looking for it? I dont think it flashes unless there is an error code. Unless your bulb is removed from the cluster thats a different story.

The cel is on.. im trying to retrieve the codes and reset it. Pulling the efi fuse under the does not reset it..pulling the battery cable does not reset it either.. i apreciate your help i really do

My bad, I misunderstood. Well the link I posted has a whole lot about retrieving and resetting codes. Also I remember finding a page through google (on lexusowners usa I think) with all codes and their meanings. Too bad autozone doesnt have obd1 tool. GL, let us know what happens.
