Default 1JZGTE block with 2JZGE Head

So I have the chance to pick up a working 1JZ block with 2JZGE head, Mitsu TD07 turbo rebuilt turbo, new 1JZ gasket set, for dirt cheap (less than a grand for reference). My questions are whether this is a good deal, a good setup, and what kind of hp I can expect from this? Also, would this be good for a drift car? I've not been able to find too much on 1JZ blocks with these heads, it's usually done the other way around.

I already have most of the transmission and other misc. parts for my build so assuming this is ok to go with, I'd be almost done parts wise.

Any input is appreciated.

Never heard of ge head on a 1JZ block... usually the other way around they guy selling it probably swapped the 1jz head onto their 2jz block... for the real 1.5jz. I'd save your thousand bucks up before spending all the time and money to swap that frankenmotor in

I was wondering where this went since I figured it was in the wrong area.

Here's a vid of this setup on an IS300

I wonder what headgasket was used. I would feel better off with a regular ge at that point and piece together a turbo kit. does have a "wow" factor though so I am sure some people will like it.

It doesn't seem bad. $500 for everything
