24, 25, 31 CEL codes out of nowhere! Help.
24 - IAT Sensor Signal
25 - Air–Fuel Ratio Lean Malfunction
31 - Air Flow Meter Signal
getting those 3 codes.
Car is running VERY rough at idle the whole car is shaking like a loopy V8 but the rpm's are not bouncing around, This is the case basically anywhere below 2000rpm with some neutral smooth spots here and there when I am cruising or revving the motor up.
Once the car gets over 2000 rpm's it seems to run flawless or so I think. I am able to go WOT without any breakup, shifts fine. Gas mileage is only a little worse between the 1.5 tanks I've gone through with the problem since it started (daily driver).
So far I've cleaned my Iacv, Mafs, and used a different mafs from a mk4 supra and no change to how my car runs. When I unplug the mafs the car sounds like it wants to die but doesn't even when revved up and down. Different than before when I would unplug it and the car acted the same just ran more rich. I do get some smoke at start up which goes away after its warmed up. This only started when the CEL came on.
I am looking to see what I should replace first. I've been reading and reading and it seems to have similar symptoms to people who have had to change their main 02 sensors.

I left the country 2 days after I posted this.
Trying to diagnose it when its not in front of me is just going to cost a few more dollars. Friend who is keeping the car for me isn't a mechanic but neither am I but I can run down a problem with equipment. So I can only suggest what he should check for me over phone or internet. Hasn't worked to well... So next week going to have a him bring my car to a Toyota dealer for a full diagnostic for $90. Will post what they say here afterwards.

^haha it is.
Ok finally went to the dealer and got a diagnostic. All they said was to change my entire ignition system.... Isn't the point of a $90 diagnostic to pinpoint exactly what is wrong? feel like i wasted another $90 on my car. I guess I will change one thing at a time in the ignition system.
So far my friend bought new ignition coils and those were not the fix. plugs and wires in the car have no more then 400 miles on them but i will tell him to check each cylinder for me. next after that is dist and caps i guess...
will update this thread as much as i can for the next 10 days. after that no more computer access for awhile.
