Default NA-T Auto

Alright forum,
All I see is auto transmissions suck, can a auto transmission handle 400 hp with a conservative driver. I want to boost my car and drive my auto and when I find a r154 swap it in. If you are running a auto trans let me know the truth!

My boost logic built auto handles 500 to the rear wheels all day long and will break your neck at all shift points. I don't think autos suck.

Dont miss my auto na-t one bit. And no, your stock auto trans will not survive too much hp without some mods. A good trans cooler and very conservative driving maybe, but not for long.

It is all about how you drive the car. That will determine how long it will live at that power level. However, it is correct you are not starting with a very strong base.

mine has lasted 2 years and near 30k miles with conservative driving and the occasional horseplay. Its only just now started to slip in first at high RPM and thats mostly my fault for getting on it from a stop.
