It can work the wiring is mostly the same except you need to use a odb2 usdm supra ecu, and you can only do it if you are non-vvti odb2. you will need 550cc injectors instead of 440cc used for JDM ecu's and also a TT maf in addition to the parts listed in my thread (or maybe the odb2 2jzge maf might work hasn't been tested yet but its one of those theories floating around).

Yeah usually it has to do with the diameter of the maf when the connectors are the same which I thought someone said they were.
In that case the stock one may be worth a try its already wired up, just do the wiring for the map sensor like shown below, which is a diagram is for a 95 but should be similar. May want to double check a odb2 pinout if you have one.
if you get a good deal on a TT maf you can be sure that one will work though, no need to change the wiring unless the connectors are different, and then you repin the connector don't cut the wires off.

Thats the whole reason i wanted a 97 because it already comes with the body kit I want, but it does take more work with emissions and all. I will let you know shortly as I have all the parts now i just need to find the time. Anyone have a throw away ECU. I want the ECU connector to make a jumper harness.
