Thanks. I'm ordering the spacers custom made from onlinemetals.com

I'm going to use stainless steel 304 tubing and have them cut to order 6 pieces.

I'll have them cut it to exactly 105mm. Hopefully everything lines up the same!

Stainless T-304/304L
Seamless Tube
0.75" x 0.12" x 0.51"
Cut to: 4.1339"
Total cost for 6 pieces is $60.82

The bolts are 7/16" x 5" so they should fit inside the 0.51" interior diamater. What do you think of that tube sizing?

Good job on the cleaning everything is looking like new again.

Hi, 7/16" is 11.1125 mm diameter, which technically would fit into 0,51", maybe the inner diameter should be at least 15mm to allow some expansion when hot, maybe it's enough clearance, I,m not an expert.
I'm not so familiar with the imperial measuring system, not sure what a T-304 tube is, you don't have to choose square tube, mine ended up being square just because i found those parts amongst some junk i had lying around. If you look at Lextreme's pictures he used aluminium round tubing and adjusted the length of the spacers with a couple of washers. Don't forget to use thread sealant and a washer on the bolts. You don't have to tighten it very much, the washer and thread sealant do that job for you.
I'm very happy that you chose a V3 as well, we can share common experience and problems and help each other.

P.S. I re-read my post one more time and realized that it would probably take a lot for the bolts to expand almost 4 mm :-) , but hey I work with computers, what do I know about metals.
