Default supercharged 2jz??

Has anyone here supercharged their 2jz instead of going turbo? seems like a simpler task than having to mess with exhaust piping and worrying about oil to cool. just got to get a custom plate to mount it and a belt. I have seen just a few is300 people supercharge their 2jz but not an SC. And i seem to remember something being said about using a supercharger from a 1ggze motor and mounting it where the ac is.

There were plenty of S/C kits for the IS 300, same engine. And plenty of people go with S/C lol.

but for a daily a supercharger would seem simpler. Dont have to mess with exhaust, dont have to worry about cooling that much because it is not connected to the exhaust manifold, dont have to wait for oil to cool to shut off, constant and instant boost from the throttle very minimal lag. Just got to find a plate to mount it, run a belt long enough, oil lines and intake piping and done. just tune it like a turbo. 8 to 10 psi from a supercharger seems reasonable and decent boost

Lol go ahead and take that route at the end of the day lemme know how it works out. Id love to see it in action but i guess its jist a personall preferance. Ive had superchsrged cars and turbo cars... i like turbo better imo but to each his own.
