hey check this out, its for an integra but the descriptions are far better than on that uk site. seems pretty universal to me since both bulbs would fit our cars, and hence the sockets/wattages are the same.

http://vmac.org/~weston/teg/9005conv/

very good detail, im definitely going to pick up an extra set of 9005's and try that out.

NRG, if you could give me any tips on filing down those filling things on the inside (what did yu use? nail filer or like something more industrial? ) that would be great. i looked at my current 9005's and they dont have two teeth, but this long kind of plateau in the middle where the teeth would be (according to the diagram on the uk site). is this unusual? the bulbs are from sylvania.

UPDATE: was just googling, and i found this one too.

it was very simple.
my friend told me about it, and i went to pick up the light bulbs, then i came home and found out i got the 9006 kinds, DOH!
anyways, a trip back to autozone for the 9005, and came home with joy.
at the time i wished i had a dreamel to do the mod, but i just took a kitchen knife, left the tip on the stove top fire, and waited for that tip to get red hot. get the light bulbs out and hold it in a confortable position, and make sure you dont touch the bulb's glass. i just melted the two notch off and it worked perfect, plus i cutt of the top outside notch half off, so it was like 3mm left on there.. i went out into the car, and put it on and it fit perfect, tight fit too.
i didnt do that rubber ring mod, i didnt see the need, mines fit perfect.

i can take pictures of the light bulb itself if you guys like...

have fun.
