Anyone done a V8 auto to manual swap? I need to know what ECU changes I need. Thinking just replace it with a PowerFC or Motec. Anyone done this??

yeah i forgot to mention the emanage. I'm not worried about the rev limiter. I'm more worried about the speed cut limiter and the boost limiter that is in the soarer.

Post HKS

HKS , make a little electronic delimeter for the JZZ30 Soarer, the Type T6.

In England we had a specialist making the delimeters for our Soarers but he's no longer in business.

Though I'm pretty sure Toan used an Apexi S-AFC to do the same trick.

Either Toan or Manny will know for sure

Another way is a field fuel controller which removes boost and speed cut and is easy to wire in.

You can check on ebay and do search ,it works like a afc and has lots of cool features i had one but have since sold it ,you will get a rpm ,1/4mile, rich lean, and be able to adjust you fuel for 3 different boost settings which is how i had mine set up.
Fuel adjust is from idle to 8000rpm, mine was set up for stock, low,
and high boost. There are two versions one for honda which has a vtec setting and the normal one which is the one you want also
look in www.mkiv.com and do a search as it was used a lot by the tt supra folks.

Default Yes you know and you are right.

dunno could be wrong.
yes you know, and you are right. I'm doing the 1jz swap to my lexus sc300. I've done research for months, and conclusion, 1jz and 2jz can both handle 800rwhp before the motor overdoses on gas and air. And yes, exactly right, torque is the only difference. 1jz jumps off the line earlier and rev's up to 9000max!!! 2jz later start, but torque makes up for it. Dissadv. 7-8000max!!! Take care buddy. I don't like bulshiet, and you are not.
