Exclamation Shakey Idle ??? Car Performs Fine

Hey Club Lexus,

My Car Is Idling at a normal idle speed 800-850 RPM but shakes roughly like it wants to stall but wont the car SOUNDS CAMMED OUT!

When you give the car gas its fine and it performs fine.

Brand :

Wires
Cap
Rotor
Newer Plugs
Injector O-rings

Can I Get Some Imput ? Any one had this issue?

There is a great DIY for bucking, hesitation and erratic idle on here. Use the search button, it will come up. I say its the IACV, TPS, or MAF sensor, or a combo of the three. Also try cleaning your throttle body with some great cleaner and a wire tooth brush.

I would start with the iacv and clean it with new gaskets then go from there.

also if you removed the distributor make sure your timing is right with the light, easiest way to make a 2jz sound like a boat is to be 1 tooth off in the direction that retards the timing.

did you try messing with the tps. mark where it is currently set first then try adjusting it and see if it gets better, if not put it back.
