using a usdm Mk3 r154 shifter housing and shifter lever requires a 3.5 inch extension to keep it right in the middle of the sc300 shifter while using usdm mk3 r154 shifter

I can post some pictures of the two housings for comparison if anyone's curious. The V3 shifter is technically intended for an MKIII W58/R154 but the guys there confirmed with me that it works on early SC's as well. I'm tempted to install it on the original W58 in my car to see how it feels before I make my road trip north to get the R154 rebuilt and installed.

Question. i bought my r154 already extended. I got it rebuilt using all the Marlin Crawler and Driftmotion upgrades. I just wanna make sure the length is right. The shop that did the rebuild said it should be good, just kinda need a second opinion. It going into a 97 sc 300 (original auto

)

The shifter is also a suprasport v2.
