1jzgte swap into 93 sc300
I have come to my wits end, we have worked on this and worked on this searched and collected tons of info. We are not getting a spark, it whirls over perfectly just no start, fuel is being pumped power to the coils but not spark. i bought a extra ignitor and same problem, checked the obvious grounds, the motor is getting grounded. The only engine codes i am getting are 21, 24, and 47. The crank is slightly below spec but very close. The cam sensors are both in spec. Checked ecu and its the cleanest ecu board I have seen. I'm at the end of my chain on this 1 year swap lol. I would appreciate ideas/help...any lol.

Will any of those errors cause it to not fire? Ill check the 12v when i get home, I am thinking so but ill make sure. I had thought all that I need for it to fire was crank sensor, cam sensors, fuel and ignitor working.

I researched the ecu and I think its from a vvti chaser... 89661-22800 is the identifying number on it. Can these ecu's be made to work, I will be on the phone tomorrow with the people who sold it to me.

By saying "cam sensors both in spec" I'll assume that your engine is a regular tt 1jz. Without me confirming your research of the ecu P/N, I can tell you that if the plug port on the ecu is white plastic, it's vvti. If it's grey plastic, it's non vvti. No, this ecu will not work for this car. You should be getting more codes I would think, but bottom line is it will not run the car. Timing signals are different, ignition channels are different, injection, tps, lots of little stuff. Let us know how it goes talking to the importer since you said it was a year long swap. They might not wanna cough something up, in which case, I'm pretty sure I have a non vvti 1j ecu from that era that I'd trade you

Osakajdm motors will not right the wrong, Vrank I appreciate it I am willing to buy also. What happens to be the numbers on your ecu. I am needing a 1jzgte non vvti auto ecu.
