That's good to know. My new metal gaskets came in today along with my new Redline fluid. The downside the manifold is ready. Prolly first of next week. Bought some new DEI heat wrap. It was the best they had. It looks different than what I used before. When I removed the old, it just fell into hard pieces. I didn't know if this was normal. Gerrb recommends also using the DEi high temp paint to add to the wrap. I might go that route as well. Should I spray this then install the wrap? Sounds good to me. I do remember the cover on the new wrap said it reduces heat by 50%. If thats true, thats awesome.

Update. The revised manifold was completed today. They couldn't deck it, due to so much of the flange being warped. They chose to weld it up and then grind it down, by thickening the actual flange better than what it was. The results were great in my book. I decided to go ahead and by DEI Titanium heat wrap, 2 rolls, and one can of the high temp DEI silicone spray. Its rated up to 1500 degrees, I painted the DP, manifold, housing on turbo, and waste gate dump tube. I wanted to let the paint cure for a few days before I wrapped the manifold, so the SC didn't put back together today. I did go ahead and wrap the DP. If this happens again, I will buy another T4 flange and have it welded onto this one and start over. I should still have enough room for the 1/2 inch or so increase in height. This was a recommendation from Gerrb and blk &blue. Thanks guys for your valued input. Here are some pictures of the finished product.

I also had the machine shop drill three of the holes out and I will use lock washers and Grade 8 bolts on those 3. I couldn't get the other hole to fit the locknut, due to room. This should also help also secure the turbo housing to the flange.

Got everything back together and my feed line to the turbo from block sprung a leak. Just sucks. The rear bolt on the turbo closet to head was a royal pain in the butt. Good thing is no coolant leaks and I just need to check the clutch. Will pick up another feed line tomorrow if they have it in stock. Keep everyone posted.

If you knew how long it took me to get those darn bolts mounted for the turbo to sit.. what a pain. I ended up grinding down one side of the nut so it would clear the flange. Any how it is back together. Picking up the oil line tomorrow. Should be good to go. I went ahead and replaced some vacuum lines on the wastegate since it takes the most heat from the dp and put in new coolant with royal purple coolant addictive. Just some preventive mmaintenance I suppose. Here is a few more pictures.
More tomorrow! !!

Its finished. .. I have a tranny leak. I am thinking it is the overflow vent or the rear seal on the R154. I will continue to monitor it. If indeed it is the rear seal thats an easy fix.
