Default Needs some help with my coolant explosion :(

So I was driving into work about 20mins ago, its about a 30min drive, I was driving with the a/c on. and as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, there was white smoke coming out of the left side of the engine bay from my hood. my coolant temp gauge immediately started to raise to almost the h mark, and then it stopped and dropped back down to normal operating temp. And then my car started to sputter. this all happened within a minute. So I parked, opened the hood, and there is coolant everywhere. I cant determine the source of the leak. Hoses seem fine, The rad isn't really soaked.

Is there anyone who may have an idea of what exploded out of nowhere?

*Edit - I forgot to mention that I have a 95 Sc400

This ain't rocket science. Put water in it and wait for it to come out.

Your car runs like crap because your plugs now have coolant in the boots and elsewhere.

Thanks for the help, but your no help. I already put water in the rad/overflow to help cool down as much as possible and there are no leaks anywhere. Im not going to start it up to cause more damage to what may already have been done.

Would a hairline crack leak under pressure? wouldn't it leak all the time?

*edit - I forgot to update, I started the car and it runs smooth again. I did not let it warm up. I put coolant in and nothing is leaking with it running... im starting to think that my rad/overflow cap may have just gave out

So another update. Because it started fine, I was convinced that it was leaking because of the hard rad cap. So I replaced it, poured more coolant in ans somewhat bled the system. And everything was fine for about 10 mins when it started to sputter and misfire. I don't see any coolant/water leaking anywhere anymore, or even any evidence that it was before. Im really stumped

I had a hairline crack in the red of my other car that only leakd at operating temp. Make sure all electronics items are dry would be my next best guess.

Check your thermostat, make sure there's no coolant in your sparkplug vallys, maybe dump uv dye in your coolant and find out where its going.
