Default Sc300 transmission problem

So this weeks problem is when I put my car Into drive it take ten seconds to finally engage and move forward then after about 100 feet the car just revs in place and doesn't move. Same thing with reverse and all other gears i noticed it driving home when my car would over rev past the rpm is should have been at and then all of a sudden sling shot forward.

First, is the O/D light flashing? CHeck your fluid level in the transmission. Even 1/2 quart makes the difference. Even in a Ford...lol (I know from experience).

The light starts flashing after about 15 min of driving. The fluid level even cold is over filled from previous owner. I first thought the converter was slipping but I could be wrong

Pull the code and see what it tells you. If the trans is over filled, that will cause internal pressure that might break the seals of the trans. Might want to drain a little out and put the correct amount in.

I just picked up a spare tranney for 50 bucks so Im Gonna swap that in and then disassemble this one and figure it out. My converter couldn't be the culprit could it?

Signs of a bad converter would be clunking while shifting, slipping trans ect. I wouldn't go as far to say that could be it, but then again, it might...IDK.

Did it end up being the Converter? Those are usually the culprit in some SC tranny problems.
