Default N2MB Wot Box

Anybody have any insight on this?
I already sent an email to the company asking about my specific application on my sc400 and was pretty much told it would more than likely work on my car & already did alot of searching for anybody who has installed one on their car but can't find any solid info.

I just want to be sure before I place my order & have to send it back.

Just a comment on how that box would be connected on your computer . I noticed the usb to serial adapter. Depending on how that box utilizes the RS232 signals, you might be better off using an older laptop or desktop with the DB9 RS232 serial port. Those usb to serial adapters are a hit and miss thing . More often on the miss ... I have used a couple of them with different chipsets and I always had problems on some electronic equipments that needed serial connections especially on automotive applications. Just the other day I tried 3 different ones and one is exactly as the one pictured on that ad . I was trying to connect my Carsoft 7.4 / Multiplexer to my Benz to get the error codes and none of them would work on 3 different laptops of different OS using the USB port. Some of them won't even work on the AEM v1 which uses a DB9 RS232 port.

Just make sure they have tested that USB to serial adapter with that WOT Box and they give you the right driver for the OS of your computer.

^sorry, didn't know if it should be in this section or not considering it's just a piece of computer equipment like all the other electrical items posted in the other section.

& @ gerrb, oh trust me i know.. i've had that issue come up back when i had my m3.. but i'm currently not worried about that since i already have a serial-serial adapter & a old dell latitude d510 set aside for tuning purposes and all the guys who run this box on their cobras & mopar crap, report that the provided cable works like a charm on most systems.
