Oxidized headlights on the inside...
My headlights have oxidized a lot. At first I thought it was just the outside, ends up being on the inside. I wet sanded/polished the outside of my headlights and they are still yellow.
Anybody ever taken their headlights apart and buffed the inside of them? I did it to my first set and ruined them. Couldn't get out all the fine scratches between the grooves.
Chime in please if you have done yours.

The lenses are plastic and just naturally turn yellow over time. Your car is 18+ years old after all. I had a side business taking apart headlights and modifying the housing so I've had good experience with all types of plastic lense headlamps. You can polish the inside all you want, but it will not completely remove the yellow tint as the material itself has discolored just due to age and sun exposure. Now that you have wet sanded and polished the uv protectant off the surface of the lense, expect it to discolor more and more quickly. Only way around this is to replace the headlights with a new set.

Its not the inside, its the lens edge. You have to remove the lens and sand the edge too. It will still have a yellow glare if you dont. You know its good when its clear and almost a greenish tint at the right angle.

I like to use www.sewellparts.com, they give a decent clublexus discount if you sign up an account with them, it's free.
