Should I buy this W58?
So I was checking my local ads and there is a complete W58 tranny with the clutch, flywheel, shifter, and clutch fork. It has 90k miles on it.
The guy wants $150 for it all. Do you guys thin this could be a good investment, maybe just buy it and sell it for more?
Or possibly in the future a sc400 w58 swap but what else would I need for the swap other than what's listed?

if its not actually broken and is from a 2jz it could be a good investment, you can even part it out.
If it is a 7m model, then the bellhousing and flywheel and fork are not very usefull, well maybe the fork.
only thing you could use would be the clutch and the trans itself then.
if its a 2jzge one then lots of people are looking for a bellhousing, flywheel, fork etc. for various swaps or replacement.

What do you think? How much does a 2jz bellhousing, flywheel, fork cost usually? Or is it better just to buy a complete 2jz tranny?

all those parts will cost more sourced separately than finding a w58 off a 2jzge. As I said if its for a 7m its not as worth it unless you have a 7m to bolt it up to (which is why they are so inexpensive). if the other one from a 2jzge is complete, thats not a bad price especially if there is some wiggle room.
