1jz/2jz rear sump oil drain elbow
Hey Guys,
anyone know the part number for the oil drain elbow that attaches to the oil pan on 1jz (I assume the same part on 2jz) motors? I am trying to reuse the stock oil drain line from my 1jz and an AN fitting is going to complicate things quite a bit.
thanks!
Marko

2jz has twins and a makes a y for both returns to go into the pan at the flange itself. Only way it'll work is to block off one side which is super ghetto. It is a low pressure deal so could work in a pinch but I'd still advise against it. A pan flange with a 1/2 npt bung will work fine. Then get a 1/2" npt to -10 or -12 male fitting, then a push lock hose end that corresponds with the other fitting. Measure inner diameter of rubber return from turbo to determine whether to go -10 or -12. Simple.

Only with pushlock, not the regular style AN fittings. If the 12 measures up closer to the stock stuff, see if you can replace the piece of hose with a piece of -12 hose, and clamp only the top to the factory steel return. Pushlock fitting to proper size pushlock hose won't need a clamp. Always a good idea to replace hoses.
Could always go baller and have someone weld a steel male AN bung onto the stock return tube, and then make a solid AN hose too. Many ways to **** this chicken.
