Default plz help! Cant remove Left Front Rotor

I removed the passenger one and that wasn't too bad.

but the drivers one is rusted on there good! I tried 3 days now I put the 8mm bolt in the holes to try to back it out and they just stripped out. It was soo rusty in there any how. so I soaked w PB BLASTER front and back of the rotor, tried banging on it with a hammer form the back and spinning it.

Heat it up Torch it?

Put the lug nuts on it, then proceed to hit the face inbetween the studs with a ball peen hammer. Pop the ever living **** out of it. The lugnuts are there to protect he threads on the studs from the hammer. Do not hit the braking surface, just the mounting surface.

If you are replacing the rotor then you can hit the braking surface all you want. Find a hefty mini sledge hammer and alternate hits between braking surface and the wheel mounting surface. Some rotors I come across are very stubborn with corrosion. Seriously beat the **** out of it. Eventually the shock of hitting it fiercely will rattle it free. I have had to use an air hammer on the wheel mounting surface in the past. Vrank has a very good suggestion with using the lug nuts as a protective cover as to not ruin the threads on the wheel stud. Good luck!

after you get it off, spray the area with rustoleum, worked wonders for me in the long run...i suggest spraying all for rotors and the shield behind it. i got a can for $1.00 on clearance at advanced.
