Default FPR and Filter Recommendations

Ok guys,

Think I have it narrowed down to what FPR and filter I want to use but I do value you guys opinions, What recommendations do you have??

Brand and part number would be helpful Must be E85 compliant.

Thanks,

Shane

weldon fpr hands down , the return orifice is twice the size of aeromotive or fuel lab etc and is 100% e85 compliant
.. fuel filter , only use the washable stainless steel mesh , paper element type will clog quickly , been there , done that

^ this. On big e85 cars The Weldon is awesome. I'm also a huge fan of magnafuel. Make sure to use stainless element filters, both a pre pump and post pump filters. Can't remember exactly the micron they suggest wanna say 10 pre/40post, but Weldon gives that info out.

Ok guys, here is what I'm looking at and you tell me if this is what you think I need. I will be using a -8 feed line and a -6 return line.

Weldon Fuel Pump (Part# 2040-281-A-120)
http://www.weldonracing.com/product/...Regulator.html

Weldon Filter (Part# WEQ0810CLN) 10 Micron -8 fittings
http://www.weldonracing.com/product/..._Assembly.html

or

Fuel Lab 82802 Fuel Filter 10 Micron -8 fittings (This filter has mounting brackets)
http://fuelab.com/products/performan...uelab_filters/

What I'm reading now also is that they want to put a filter inline before the pump, (40 micron) does that go on the return line if you do it ??

Be patient guys, still learning some of this.

Thanks,

Shane

One filter inbetween pump and tank, another between pump and fuel rail. Where in tx are you? I see your sig pic has the old BL in the background.

Vrank,

I'm in Huntsville, Tx. Pics were the pics SW (Streetking) sent me when I bought his car. It looks almost exactly the same except for what all I've done to it.
