to my fellow mechanics out there who have done the auto to manual conversion on the sc300 or sc400...what's a realistic approx. time from start to finish for the procedure if there's access to a lift.thanks.

Hardest part would be punching hole for the clutch pedal. Knockout punch kit from Harbor freight helped a lot. I have to removed the driver's seat so I can work up side down.
i finished my swap in 3 days on jack stands in my driveway. that was my first time doing the swap and i was alone.
Having a lift would cut back a lot of time i would think
what about the ECU? no one never talk about that part
You can use the factory ECU on the SC400, just swap the solenoids from the old auto tranny into the manual and that'll get rid of most of the CEL's for a OBD2 car. If I'm not mistaken there are no CEL's on OBD1's?
