Rough idle - code 27
Heres the story.
I have a 92 SC300, 192K miles. Mods are in my sig.
Recently my car has been running rough, bad idle, no power, terrible mpg but no CEL. So i opened up my ecu, found a couple caps are blown. Replaced the ECU, now the car has a CEL and its for code 27.
So since i knew my car is very over due for maintenance. I just did my cap,rotor, plugs, VC gasket, and installed a new battery. Recently also replaced all vac lines, set timing. Test drove my car after. Car has power now, but still has the check engine light, and i can still feel it is somewhat restricted.
I noticed while test driving it, that under load the car seems to run fine. But once I'm at a light or the car is idle'ing the idle is real low like 450rpm, misfiring and all lights are dimming, and once it is warmed up the car dies when its stopped/idle. Also when it is at idle, feels like it is misfiring also. I was wondering what can cause this? Stuck injector, injector always open, or the code 27. Can a bad o2 sensor really cause a car to run this rough?
Code 27 - sub o2 sensor critcuit.
I was also wondering what o2 sensor is the sub? I know there is two on the manifold for 1-3 and 4-6, and i believe one near the cat.
Also I'm pretty sure my car has the 12v mod done before I got it.
