Default Throttle body differences between 1992-1997

Hello,

Had to swap TBs and found that there are differences between the years. I don't know the exact year my replacement came from but mine was a 97.

Some have a wound spring return on the throttle cable side and the bracket mount for the cruise control is different.

This is just a picture from eBay but you can see it has a wound spring like on my 1997.

This is the replacement I found. Ignore the dark area, this is a custom mount for a TB microswitch for something else. Just note the circled area and it has a stick/pin type return.

The new one is extremely touchy and responds faster. I wonder if the 97 one had that softer spring to make the car more 'soft'? Any ideas?
