Anyone convert a -GE BLOCK TO -GTE?

Everything GTE related above the short block is relative. Converting the GE block does seem to be a bit of a pain but it's not the end of the world. What seems to be LESS of a pain is just using an Aristo 2JZ-GTE long block and converting any little needed little things but that goes for any flavor GTE swap: you have the engine completed and you just need to do basic maintenance and get a harness made.
I'm 50/50 on this argument because I'm basically collecting all GTE specific upper components (due to EGR). It seems like a waste and hassle to buy a whole Aristo block just to sell of the turbos, head, intake manifold and other hardware just to get a block that's set up already. Then again, it's a pain to take a 2JZ-GE block and do all of these factory modifications to it to also get nearly the same thing.
It makes me respect how far NA-T build guides and supporting aftermarket hardware have come, honestly.
