Default SC400 randomly cutting out

Just recently my 92' SC400 has been stalling out randomly, i will be driving and the engine completely cuts out, no sputtering or anything. Replaced my spark plugs with denso and replaced my fuel filter to no avail. I will be driving and it will just cut off, and trying to restart is always hit or miss. Sometimes it will start right back up sometimes it will take 20 tries and then it will start up no problem. i ran the diagnostics and its saying code 15 which is ignition related and code 24 which is intake air temp. Im beginning to believe that its ignition related but what should i check? Ive read about the fuel pump ecu going bad but i can hear the pump running when the car is trying to start. I reset the ecu after the car stalls and the car will still not turn over then randomly it will fire up without hesitation. Ive searched all the forums and can't seem to find anything related to my issue what could be the problem???

It Sounds Like Your Car Is Running rich. I Would First Check Your Ign. Coils, Wires, Then Move To The Fuel System.

Your SC has 2 ignition coils. Go ahead and while the vehicle is running, disconnect one by one. If the car shuts off, you know the coil is good. If the car runs the same, you have found the problem. If this doesnt work, it might be a good idea to perform the Fuel pump ECU 12v mod.

codes and symptoms point to a bad maf or a bad ignition coil, or possibly both. I would start with those.
next time it happens see if you unplug the maf will the car start and drive then. 92 sc400's can drive around without the maf, you will use more fuel but may help narrow down the problem.
