Default issues with 95 sc400

To all, my car was riding ok after major work on it. It had a little bit of shake while ideling but it was riding fine. I replaced the distributor cap and now i have all kinds of issues. I had the distributor in upside down. I did not realize there was a knotch on the distributor. i took it out and inserted correctly. The car seems to be ideling very low. I ran it last night and it seemed to do good but now when i drive it the tack will go up but the care will not go over 20 miles an hour. Any idea's. There are no check engine lights on

Reset ECU (Remove negative/positive battery terminal for 20 mins) and check to make sure your base timing is ok (with timing light.) Report back findings. It's not a coincidence that your car stared acting up after you messed with it.

Your distributor might have un wound again and got caught up. I know a friend who had this happened after he replaced the distributor.
