17mm Bolt Above Thermostat Inner Threads Stripped Help!!!
My 17mm bolt threads on the inside of my assembly are stripped and my bolt will not tighten up therefore causing air to escape which causes a loud whistling noise from the hot coolant when the car heats up really good. I went to our local pul a part and there is the exact assembly available I took the two bolts off that I thought housed the assembly but apparently there is more to it then just 2 bolts. Is there a way for me to retread the inside so that the bolt can tighten back up. HELP!!!!

Thanks I tried to get the rethreading tool it only went up to 12mm. But i found a rubber plug from the auto parts store with a screw in the top that expands as you tighten. It's holding up like a champ. Found out there is a slight crack in my overflow tank. Now have to replace that.
