Save up for another engine then...I am telling you whats gonna happen.

The obx doesn't have any rubber on it to dampned the vibrations , it will cost you your engine.

Do not do it.

If you want something that will not break and last you , get the ati damper.
How much is that and where do I get it I just paid 65 plus 10 for shipping for the obx and this issue has ran me broke. This is my only car and I haven't even been able to go to work.

Whatever you do do not used that obx crap, you will end up spending more money..

Winchester I just replaced it with a stock one and it fell apart in two weeks that's why I wanted to go with one without the harmonic balancer.

What are you using to apply heat to the pulley? Are you making sure your heating only the pulley and not the crank snout?

what might help is to cut some slits with a cutoff wheel on the pulley near the crankshaft to help ease some tension off of the crankshaft.

I went through two rentals from O'reilly's before I was able to get it off, in the end it took a ton of pb blaster, 2 days, and a 3 hook pulley puller.

OBX parts are good for one thing, and one thing only...to make decorative clocks for your garage/shop. They sell clock kits at hobby lobby, michaels crafts and at home depot.

Clean your stock pulley, clean the crank snout (some 00 steel wool will work good and more PB Blaster), and reuse that. Yeah the OBX looks....err....neat, but might as well toss some liquid glass in with your next oil change.

anyone know if you can use one from a 2jzgte on a 2jzge? has anyone tried that? Is there an advantage like the rubber is stronger or basically the same as the ge part?
