1994 sc 400- car jerks hard when shifting into drive or reverse
I have a 1994 Sc 400. Lately, after I had the seals changed, I began noticing a hard jerking movement of the car when I shift into Drive or Reverse. It feels like the idle is high, but when I check it, especially when warm, it does not seem to be high, around 500-6-- rpm. I was told the hard jerking shif t in the transmission may have something to do with a solenoid which is sending the wrong information to the transmission. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to take of the problem thanks for your help. (You may also send comments to al_mariam123@yahoo.com)

Argh, Transmission jolts, please help
Allright guys,
When driving home from the bank today, my sc300 auto started jumping when changing gears (1st, 2nd,3rd, etc.) Its just not a smooth shift, very aggrivating. Feels like someones just dropping the clutch, if it were a manual. Upon more inspection, I realized it is doing it in reverse as well. Can't find any leaks, just had tranny serviced two weeks ago too.... Has anyone else had this problem? Fix?

Call the shop that did the tranny fluid change and make sure they used the Toyota fluid recommended for your transmission. You may also want to reset the ECU, it may help and would not hurt.
Does it happen in both tranny modes and w and w/o overdrive?
