Most probably cause of car hesitating under partial throttle?
I've noticed over the past couple of weeks that the more I drive the car the more it feels like it is sputtering, or hesitating while under partial throttle. It is most noticeable say doing 30-40mph in 3rd gear around 2kish.
It is not bad, in fact at first I thought it might actually be the stiff coilovers, but as time goes by it is becoming apparent it is the engine.
The engine has 220k on it, there are zero leaks, timing belt done 18 months ago with cap rotor plugs and wires at same time.
Check engine light gives 3 codes. 1 says left bank is lean, other 2 say bad o2 sensors, but that is doubtful as they are <6 months old.
I have also noticed that on first start, the car idle is either very low < 400k to rather high around 1500k, but usually I hit the throttle and it settles within seconds.
So, what would be the best diagnosis as to what I should work on first to solve this problem?
*Is there a computer that I can plugin to the engine bay that will tell me more diagnosis info than the 3 codes I get with the obd2 inside the car?
