Default Gas Gauge not working

My gas gauge stopped working the other day. Can someone point me in the right direction of where and what to check?

More likely it is your fuel level sensor if your gauge used to work.

Take out the rear cover in the trunk and will expose the gas tank. Right there at the center is a cap with 8mm bolts ..that is where the sensor is.

The part you mean, is it the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor? A $160 part?
