not sure on that; i was wondering the exact same thing...

i'll ask my friend about it...

in theory you could throw on a LS400 MAF and then throw in 440 injectors and they would only need minor tuning... just like the MK3 SupraT guys upgrade to 550s

Oh, one other thing. On the way in, encountered a way hopped up 4dr mid 90s Galant VR-4. Very nice car huge exhaust. Guy said he laid down 350 at the wheels. He said "Im not gonna get beat by a Lexus"

Was it a charcoal color?

Once you put your mind into it, nothing is impossible. I did it with V8 engine. That was almost impossible task. Inline -6 a walk in the park. Good luck and Just do IT... $20 each for the injector? I need some....

ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...408006853&rd=1

just won a tial wastegate, 35mm; enough for me
wasn't that much more than the deltagates on there; so i decided to just do it...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...407890275&rd=1

most of the exhaust stuff; prolly all of it will be done by me and my trusty welder... gonna see how the weldels do that Dave H used in his new kit

any suggestions on a clutch... i need something that will handle 350-400rwhp ok without too much abuse... and not too pricey... i'm trying to save as much money as feasible

fuel pump is now on its way

speaking of which; anyone wanna clue me in on something on the stocker fp?

i know we use the dual voltage setup right? i've bought a walbro 255lph to drop in (got it new for a VERY good price)... but i'm worried if i wire the car to run 12v all the time that the fuel pressure will be too high at idle...

i know there's ways around it; or perhaps this problem doesn't exist...

and of course i'll be running some nice gauge wire to the fuel pump itself so the stock wiring doesn't burn out

Just to give an idea to everyone about the expenses involved when you do this without skimping out on parts.....
lots of people think that making your own manifold is skimping... they just don't realize how many people actually do this on other cars

T4 turbo-factory remanufactured $225*
S-AFC-new $240*
DSM BOV mint condition $35*
Tial 35mm wastegate-new $200*
6 500cc injectors-new $120*
Walbro 255lph Fuel pump-new $85*
MIG Welder $120*
V-band clamps $75
DEFI boost gauge-new $110
Clutch $350

Misc pieces i intend to create myself:
manifold, downpipe, testpipe, inlet piping, intake piping, wastegate piping

ok got AFC installed

put the damn air signal wires on the wrong wire at first thought my toy was screwed up...
tps looked like it was screwd too; was reading a straight 5 volts...

got the afc on the right wire this time and the tps problem fixed itself; i guess the wire interfaces with the air signal wires somehow...
anyway, with directql's settings the car pulls noticably harder than before... i like it

If you got the fuel pump for a tt supra it will fit with no problem might be a little noisey (dont ask how i know i am running two 300zx ttpumps in my car ) get a fuel pressure regulator, paxston or aeromotive make sure they are boost freindly 1to1 for the amount of boost you run.

i plan on running the walbro by itself; no boost dependant regulator is needed... those things are bandaids on a broken bone... gonna run bigger injectors to fix the problem

you should use a FMU and along with a piggy back..... otherwise, you will have idle problem... those 500 cc injectors are too big... your check engine light will come on.. you will be running too rich at idle... problem with smog check

Thats not realy true all the big power cars ie supras run two pumps, and the fuel systems all come with
fpr so check to make sure you won't have any problems .Check out supraforums a tt single just did 935rwhp, just a suggestion.

they need a FPR because on the twin pump systems they completely upgrade the fuel lines to full stainless steel; and run new or modified fuel rails...
